Unlock the Ox AR Experience + Retail Design

To help bring 2021’s Year of the Ox to life at T-Mobile’s Signature store in downtown San Francisco, we created an engaging augmented reality experience for customers. Inspired by artists’ statues that were created for the Lunar New Year and placed around town, we created four unique T-Mobile ox designs and put them right into customers’ devices.

After scanning a QR code in-store, which launched a progressive web app containing the AR experience, customers could then select an ox and drop it seamlessly into their device’s camera view, play with the size and position, and snap and share their pic.
